Freshwater Fishing
Even before the first man rigged together a fishing rod, the Mississippi River and its tributaries have been siphoning the best topsoil from the better part of the continent. For millions of years, these nutrients have flowed down the river and deposited into our wetlands, ultimately manifesting in some of the most rich and diverse habitats in the world. Many of these habitats are ripe with freshwater fishing opportunities.
Plaquemines Parish is littered with fresh water systems such as ponds, lakes, canals, and marsh. In virtually any of these waters, you can expect to catch a wide variety of freshwater species, including largemouth bass, sunfish, and catfish. Some species, such as the alligator gar, are known to reach sizes of epic proportions.

Captain Terry is very knowledgeable and uses his experience in guiding you throughout the Mississippi River Delta, the #1 year-round fishery in the country.

Captain Todd Seither has guided 15 years for Cajun Fishing Adventures. Captain Todd is known for satisfying customers with a full Cajun experience. With over 30 years of experience on the waters, Captain Todd specializes in “Redfish and Speckled trout”. Todd is known around the lodge as a Redfish specialist.
Cajun Fishing Adventures
Captain Cody has been guiding since 2007 with Cajun Fishing Adventures. Captain Cody’s office is a 24ft Skeeter Bay boat to take you throughout the Buras Marsh and catch all inshore species. He specializes in Speckled Trout and Redfish. He’s great with artificial bait or will use live/cut bait if you like. He can put you on them in any condition. Captain Cody is very knowledgeable and uses his experience in guiding you throughout the Mississippi River Delta, the #1 year-round fishery in the U.S.
Cajun Fishing Adventures
Captain Joe DiMarco has guided since 2006 for Cajun Fishing Adventures. Captain Joe specializes in sight fishing for reds with artificial baits and spinners. Excels on Speckled Trout over reefs with plastics and live bait. When not fishing, Joe guides Waterfowl hunting as will as bird watching tours in the fresh and salt waters marshes that surround the Mississippi River.
Cajun Fishing Adventures
Captain Ross has been guiding since 2007 with Cajun Fishing Adventures. Captain Ross grew up fishing the saltwater marshes of Louisiana. He specializes in fishing for redfish and speckled trout. To catch these fish he may use several different methods throughout your fishing trip to put the fish in the boat. These methods may include sight casting, bottom fishing, spinnerbait fishing, cork fishing, and on occasion top water fishing. He also guides fly fishing as well as waterfowl. He started guiding when he was 18, and logs about 200 days of guiding each year. So grab some friends book a trip a leave the rest to him.

What We Supply We will supply you with a 2015 24' Blue Wave bay boat, an experienced fishing guide, rods & reels, ice, bait and tackle. What You'll Need to Bring We ask that you bring any food and drinks that you may want during the trip, sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, jacket etc. If you have a favorite rod & reel, you are more than welcome to bring it along. Most importantly, you'll need a valid Louisiana fishing license.
