Join us for the 2024 Hike-a-Thon and help protect our local wetlands! Registration fees will support essential land protection and restoration efforts.
Registration Benefits:
- Individual Woodlands Conservancy Annual Membership for all registrants.
- Marathon Finishers: Receive the annual membership plus a Save Our Sponge tote bag.
- Top 5 Highest Milers: Receive all the above plus a choice between a Parks-For-All Hydroflask or a set of Mignon Faget Palmetto glassware.
- Top Highest Miler: Receive all the above plus a Two-Person Travel Hammock!
Prize Pick-Up:
Prizes will be distributed on Saturday, November 16, from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM at Woodlands Preserve, 449 F. Edward Hebert Blvd.
Note: Shipping and handling costs will apply for prizes or purchases that need to be shipped.

🎄 Holiday Fun Run & Christmas Parade 🎄
November 30th (5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.)
Join us for a festive day of fun and celebration!
Event Details:
- Fun Run: Kick off the holiday spirit with our Fun Run, happening before the parade. Lace up your running shoes and get ready to enjoy a jolly good time!
- Christmas Parade: The parade featuring Santa will start at 5 PM! Watch the streets come alive with festive floats and cheer as we celebrate the season.
- Parade Route: We’ll share the route details soon, but it will conclude at the government complex.
- Holiday Market: After the parade, explore our Holiday Market at the government complex, where you can find a variety of craft vendors and delicious food trucks.
Admission: Free!

- Food Trucks: If you have a food truck and want to be part of the event, send us a message to reserve your spot.

Croatian Seafood & Culture Festival
Date & Time: April 5, 2025, 11 AM - 10 PM
Location: 220 Croatian Way, Belle Chasse
Highlights:
- Seafood Delights: Enjoy fresh local seafood including raw and charbroiled oysters, fried shrimp, and fried oysters.
